At the end of the day, career learning isn’t about constantly adding something new.
It’s about making sure your experience is taking you somewhere.
Ask yourself occasionally:
What am I getting better at?
Is that skill valuable beyond my current employer?
Am I becoming capable of handling more complex problems?
What am I learning that I couldn’t have learned a year ago?
What kind of opportunities will these skills qualify me for later?
And perhaps the most important question:
If I keep learning exactly what I’m learning today for the next three years, where will it leave me?
You may like the answer.
Or you may realize it’s time to change what you practice, what projects you pursue, and what skills you deliberately develop.
Because experience doesn’t automatically become career progress.
The right experience does.
